Overlooking the river Huong (Perfume River) and set amidst verdant greenery, the Thien Mu Pagoda is the oldest pagoda in Hue. Built in 1601 the 21meter high seven-story octogonal tower Thap Phuoc Duyen is now the official symbol of the city Hue.
